The few poems focusing on present-day America become contrived, making use of too easily surreal images, but the final poemssix short piecesare haunting, strikingly honest dreams of home and concern for the safety of friends and relatives show Agha at his finest. . Stringer's poems are more surreal, less directly personal. While the poet's craft is considerable, readers will be drawn in primarily by his subject. The clear explanation of the science involved and the fun of the projects balance each other out without overshadowing each other. but it's black and white ~ including all the photographs, which was a real disappointment. myself) can LEARN the fundemtals of a particular numerical theory by reading the handbook alone. Wow, this book is incredible. The best part is that the kids don't see them as boring or educational, just fun!
