The three authors of this book, one of which (Glenn T. I have not finished the book but so far I find Balthus very interesting and the book well done. This beautiful book gives a history of the tiger, their habits, role in myth, man's perceptions of the tiger, including history of conservation efforts and a view to the future. The book is written at a level which requires a great deal of abstract reasoning, which is by no means a characteristic of today's students, who are far more into computer stuff than into reasoning.
