Danno wants to prosecute, is told to stand down, and ends up turning whistle blower.From that point, the NPS does its best to shoot the messenger over and over again. Most instructional books and videos, however bad or poorly produced, still contain some nugget of wisdom worth the price paid. This is a necessary and great accompaniment to "From Head to Toe," a book about the human body. Lost money. After reading this book, I feel compelled to visit some states I had no interest in seeing before, and plan to avoid some others! Although a few essays are forgettable, (like the one on Maryland, which was colorless, just like the state itself) and some I would like to forget (California was so offensive I ripped the pages out; Pennsylvania and Connecticut were sad stories), many are written with reverence, some with humor, and some are just plain gorgeous! I was surprised at how dead-on accurate some essays were in capturing characteristics of familiar locales--the local culture of Key West, Florida, for example, or the lack of neighborliness in Massachusetts. As I read the book, I immediately picked up two things right from the start: 1. While there may be thouands of Excel tricks - they are useless unless they are relevant and you understand them well enought to use them. Talk about receiving the right message at the right time. I would recommend this book to AN
