It probably would feel repetitive if you were to plow through the entire thing in one sitting.Also, these strips are so densely-packed with jokes and mayhem, it takes a little while longer to read than your average comic. Could he have gone into a bit more detail about some portions of Whitney's life? Absolutely! Did we necessarily need him to? Not at all. In so doing it always tries to show it from his viewpoint as well as can be known. I loved this book! I was very concerned about buying a car. This sort of humor is never outdated. I love the building to a final end and this piece if the puzzle doesn't let you down!This can be read as a stand alone but why would you?~Dowie. I'm glad I didn't pay for this book (got it while it was free) I think it's ok for people who are beginning to look into survival guides and such, but not for someone who has a plan in mind, already packed an emergency bag, etc. The authors insight was invaluable - it truly opened my eyes to other people sharing the same discomforts and questions I had.
