The reader should understand that Daly is giving his experience, and his inner reaction to it, and not trying to write a history. For those who love the psalms this is a great book for those phrases and words that are stumbling blocks. I have used this book several times in different settings but perhaps my favorite is when I tell stories to the local long term care residents. My kid has really enjoyed looking through this book. casual read at best. Germany was forced to pay an unprecedented amount of war reparations to the victors. When I have this option, I use my laser printer on chipboard. There were some references, of course, but not enough to clog the gears or harm the text.The information inside is jam packed.
