The style of the designs range from whimsical to elegant but with more of an emphasis on elegant in this book. Definitely a good book. With the use of omniscient point of view and multiple unique characters, we are able to closely follow numerous plot lines and viewpoints from many perspectives as they each converge towards inevitable bloody clashes.The story has introduced or developed some standout characters. When I got to his last vignette (page 294, The Most Valuable Thing I've ever Done), I realized that for the last couple of hours as I was reading, Neil was sharing his being without my knowing it. I own and have reviewed this artist's earlier Christmas coloring book and have been pleased with both. While the book is short, it is a f"Civics and government, United States history, economics, geography and the World, social studies practices"--Cover.
